The Junction and Bar Nusha are located within the piazza of Cambridge Leisure Park and with seven restaurants including Nando’s, Bella Italia, Moza (Indian) and Lucky Star (Chinese) why not come and dine before or after a show. There is also a Travelodge hotel on the park.
There is an NCP car park next door, with standard parking only 50p per hour after 6.30pm.
Junction
The Junction is one of the most diverse cultural venues in the UK, that presents 100’s of performances each year to over 100 000 customers, The Junction covers clubs, comedy, dance, live music, theatre and events for young people and is committed to developing new artists and providing cutting-edge performances.
Junction J1: The original Junction building that mostly houses live music and clubs – we will be converting it into a 350 seat auditorium specifically for the Festival
Junction J2: The 220 seat theatre is the main venue for the Junction’s programme of comedy, family theatre, dance and boutique club nights.
Junction J3: The studio is usually home to workshops and artist development performances – we will be converting it in to a fantastic 100 seat Festival venue.
Junction J4: New for 2012 an intimate 50 seat venue that will stage up and coming acts for the Fringe, with a few hidden gem established acts thrown in for good measure.
Bar Nusha: After its huge success as a venue at the Festival last year, we’ve upped the stakes and put some of the very best acts in this stylish and intimate 85 seat venue. Once all the comedy has finished the venue will turn in to the Festival Club with music and dancing from 10.30pm until 1am – entry is free and you may even find some of the comedians doing a Desert Island Discs style DJ slot!
